Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have officially been cleared by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, according to RadarOnline.
The Smith family was investigated by the agency after photos emerged of their 13-year-old daughter, Willow on a bed with 20-year-old actor, Moises Arias last month.
The images caused an eruption on social media with many online pundits expressing their horror at the inappropriateness of the young actress reclining on a bare chested man.
Sources told RadarOnline that DCFS officials found no cause to take action against the Smiths and determined that Willow was never in any danger. However, the agency did advise the Hollywood parents to keep a closer eye on their children’s social media accounts in the future.
Neither Will nor Jada have officially commented on the investigation but when grilled about the post by a TMZ paparazzi in May Pinkett Smith, 42, played down the controversy telling the cameramen: “Here’s the deal, there was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it and you’re acting like covert pedophiles, and that’s not cool.”
Will and Jada have two other children, Trey, 22, and Jaden, 15 and have allowed all three of their children to pursue showbiz careers.
