The 22-year-old British actress, who was in town for the Australian premiere of her new film Paper Towns, spoke to The Weekly about starring alongside Jackman in the film Pan, which is set to be released later this year.
“He’s so wonderful and super professional,” said Delevingne. “He’s just a funny, sweet guy.”
Delevingne, who is the face of YSL Beauté and TAG Heuer, looked stunning in a dark green Dion Lee dress and Saint Laurent shoes as she posed for selfies with fans on the red carpet at Event Cinemas in Westfield Miranda.
She told The Weekly she had a lot in common with her Paper Towns character Margo Roth Spiegelman especially her love of pranking.
“There are definitely similarities… that’s what drew me to the character [Margo],” she said. “I just wanted to know more about her and be her friend.”
With five films on the horizon, Delevingne is certainly making her mark on Hollywood following a successful runway career. But the supermodel said adding ‘acting’ to her long list of talents had always been on the cards.
“It’s not really a transition because I’ve always wanted to do acting. I feel like I was born an actress. I know that sounds stupid but I’ve been waiting,” she said.
