Almost five months since Whitney Houston’s daughter was found unresponsive in her bathtub, her family has been forced to make the heartbreaking decision to move her to a hospice for what is expected to be the final stages of her life.

This comes amid explosive reports that the 22-year-old’s boyfriend is being accused of “knocking her teeth out” during an argument in the hours before she was discovered unconscious.

The Houston family has confirmed in a statement that their beloved Bobbi, whose collapse eerily mirrored her mother’s death in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub in 2012, is being moved to a facility for terminally ill patients.

“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” says her aunt Pat Houston, who is the executor of Whitney’s estate. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She’s in God’s hands now.”

Bobbi has been placed in the hospice – a medical facility usually used to provide peace and pain relief to patients in the final stages of their lives – after treatment at two Atlanta hospitals and a rehab centre.

This devastating news comes as Bobbi’s court-appointed conservator Bedelia Hargrove filed a $10 million lawsuit against the tragic young woman’s boyfriend Nick Gordon.

According to court documents obtained by American magazine US Weekly, she alleges that Nick dragged her up the stairs by her hair and knocked her teeth out during a “loud argument”. A mutual friend later found Bobbi unconscious in the bath, where she was suffering from severe brain damage.

“Today… I filed this lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured. Pat Houston [her aunt] and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred,” Bedelia states in the documents.

“I have worked closely with both of them and we all want the very best for Bobbi Kristina. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina. We pray that justice will be done for her and that it will be swift.”
