Jimmy Karz rose to fame after playing Bruce Bogtrotter in Matilda in 1996.
Bogtrotter appeared in one of Matilda’s most iconic scenes in which the movie’s villain Miss Trunchbull forces him to eat an enormous chocolate cake.
Bogtrotter forces down the cake slice by slice, much to the delight and adoration of his fellow classmates.
Now sporting manly stubble and a chiselled jaw it seems that Karz has left his cake eating days behind him.
Although Los Angeles-born Karz hasn’t done much acting since Matilda, he did make a brief appearance in The Wedding Singer and TV series ER.
Now aged 31, Karz has ditched life in the limelight in favour of medical training, working towards a qualification at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
