Earlier this week, the 47-year-old stepped out attended the Giambattista Valli show as part of Paris Fashion Week on the arm of a new lover 17 years her junior.
Forever the fashionista, she donned a pink patterned coat over a royal blue mini-dress. But perhaps her best accessory was the handsome young man she clung to throughout the catwalk show.
Throughout the event, Wendi sat arm in arm with 30-year-old Charlie Siem, a young British contemporary classical violinist.
The musician, who is signed to Sony Classical, was educated at Eton College and is now said to be one of the UK’s youngest university professors.
The pairs’ affectionate debut comes just days after her 84-year-old ex-husband said “I do” for the fourth time to 59-year-old Jerry Hall.
Billionaire tycoon, Rupert Murdoch married the former model in a private ceremony at the lavishly picturesque Spencer House in central London on Friday.
And on Saturday, they held a blessing service for friends and family at St Bride’s church on the famous Fleet Street. Wendi and Rupert’s daughter’s, Grace, 14, and Chloe, 12, joined the wedding party as beautiful bridesmaids in blue.
Wendi however, was not in attendance. She spent the day with US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour at the Nina Ricci and Celene shows at Paris Fashion Week.
The Chinese-born beauty met the media mogul in 1997 whilst she was working as in intern at the News Corp-owned Star TV.
According to New York Magazine, Wendi caught Rupert’s eye during a staff meeting in Hong Kong. One year later, she began working for the tycoon as an interpreter during his frequent visits to Shanghai and Beijing.
Rupert was still married during this time to his second wife of 31 years, Anna Torv.
In the summer of 1998, the then-married couple separated due to Anna’s suspicions that her husband “had a girlfriend.”
In June 1999, his divorce was finalised and 17 days later he tied the knot with Wendi on his yacht in New York.
The mother-of-two’s 14 year marriage to her billionaire ex ended in 2013 after reports began to circulate about her feelings towards the former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair.
Diary entries written by Wendi were uncovered by one of Rupert’s sons, which showed his wives infatuation with the politician.
In one memo to herself, the mother-of-two had scrawled: “Oh s, oh s. Whatever why I’m so so missing Tony. Because he is so charming and his clothes are so good.”
“He has such a good body and he had his really, really good legs butt [sic] and he is slim tall and good skin. Pierce blue eyes which I love. Love his eyes. Also I love his power on the stage and what else what else what else . . .”
The media mogul filed for divorce the following week.
When asked by Fortune magazine what he thought of his ex-wives alleged diary entries, Rupert responded: ”I was shocked. But I didn’t read them and I was not given them until after I had filed for divorce.”
It was a tumultuous split to say the least, but two years on it appears both Rupert and Wendi have found fresh love in new partners.
