Celebrating 20 years of all things action-packed and explosive, James Corden called on none other than Tom Cruise to pay homage to Mission Impossible with a hilarious round-up of the famed movie series’ best scenes.

The 54-year-old and the host of The Late Late Show with James Corden rumbled, tumbled and even scaled a building (with the help of a blue screen, of c ourse).

Not only that, but James used this opportunity to shine a spotlight on some of the actor’s other iconic films, including the 1996 film Jerry Maguire (James even called on Cuba Gooding Jr. to play out that “Show me the money!” scene) as well as Eyes Wide Shut, Minority Report and Top Gun.

There was even one moment during the movie montage when the War of the Worlds star couldn’t help but burst out laughing after he forget to take his wig off before playing out a scene from the 1992 film A Few Good Men.

A case of mistaken identity…

James, 38, is no stranger to making celebs relive their best hits (and, sometimes, misses). He’s had the likes of Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber bust to their own tunes in James’ Carpool Karaoke segment of his show.

Tom and James, reliving the Mission Impossible dream.

The only (contentious) moment we think was missing from Tom’s video reel is that time he jumped up and down on a couch, strangely professing his love for then-love Katie Holmes on The Oprah Show.

Take a bow, Tom. Take a bow.
