Almost one year since the day when Robin Williams tragically took his own life, a heartbreaking clip has been released of his final film.
Boulevard, an indie film by Starz, stars Robin Williams and Kathy Baker, who play a married couple faced with coming to terms with Williams’ identification has a gay man.
Feeling trapped within his own marriage, Williams delivers a polarising performance about life, love and finding a way forward.
In the newly released clip, Joy (Baker) confronts Nolan (Williams) about his new life, after he left a work function to be with the man he loves.
“What does he do for you that I don’t?” asks Joy.
“It’s not that,” Williams replies.
“Does he clean your clothes for you?” asks Joy again, “Does he listen to your stories – your boring f—ing stories? Because I don’t think he does. Does he tell you everything’s okay even when it isn’t? Because I am sure he doesn’t do that. Did he put up with your father’s demands? … My God, the arrogance of you.”
Williams committed suicide on August 11. He was 63.
