Made In Chelsea star and model wife Vogue Williams have announced the name of their new baby boy.

And seeing as they have close ties to the royal family themselves, the couple have chosen the suitably traditional name Theodore Frederick Michael for their first-born bub.

In an exclusive magazine spread with British magazine HELLO!, the couple revealed that Theodore’s middle names are a tribute to two late family members.

Vogue’s father Frederick and Spencer’s brother Michael, who died aged 22 in 1999, after reaching the summit of Mount Everest.

“His name lives on in our family and always will do,” the former playboy told the magazine.

Baby Theodore came into the world in early September 2018 with both proud parents sharing their happy news on Instagram.

Spencer, 30, posted a snap of his hand holding his new son’s, captioning it, “This morning at 3:55am, we welcomed our son into a quiet London hospital… He is beautiful and healthy. We feel truly blessed. Couldn’t be more proud of @voguewilliams.”

“This morning at 3:55am, we welcomed our son into a quiet London hospital… He is beautiful and healthy. We feel truly blessed 💙 @spencermatthews,” Vogue mused on the same day.

The proud parents took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their son.

It won’t be long until little Theodore has his own cousin to grow up with. Spencer’s brother James Matthews and wife Pippa Middleton are expecting their first child in October and it’s expected that they will also give their child a classic moniker.

Speaking to OK! Online, Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said, “The early betting suggests Pippa will follow in Kate’s footsteps by choosing a traditional name for her first-born.”

“There’s been plenty of speculation, but punters are torn right now over the gender, although the head of the baby name market is dominated by male names.”

Guess we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out…

Pippa’s almost ready to pop!
