David Beckham constantly adds to his vast tattoo collections but Victoria’s is diminishing.

On Tuesday Posh stepped out the Burberry event with two of her sweet sons by her side – but there were a couple of notable things missing… namely her husband and the tattoos she has inked in his honour.

Mr and Mrs Beckham have been married for 16 years and although David has an ever-growing collection of tatts representing all the important parts of his life, while the former Spice Girl has just four, all of which pay tribute to her husband.

Going, going, gone! Victoria in 2010 (L) and earlier this week (R).

On her left wrist the mum-of-five has her husband’s initials and Hebrew words which translate to “’together, forever, eternally.”

The other wrist sports roman numerals VIII-V-MMVI representing 8th May 2006 – the date the pair renewed their wedding vows, along with the Latin phrase “De Integro” meaning “again, from the start.”

At the star-studded event Victoria’s wrist tattoos were notably fainter, which is believed to be from the result of laser removal treatment.

Fading fast: It’s believed Posh, pictured this September on the left and in 2010 on the right, has undergone several rounds of laser to remove her body art in a bid to be taken more seriously in the fashion world.

The 41-year-old’s back tattoo has almost faded completely, too. The ink, which is located along Posh’s spine, reads, “Ani l’dodi li va’ani lo haro’eh bashoshanim” in Hebrew which translates to, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.”

VB’s final tattoo, on the small of her back, is of four simple starts, one for her husband and the other three for her sons, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13 and Cruz, 10.

Despite initial concerns that the ink removal was due to her troubled marriage with David, it is understood that the fashion designer is erasing her body art so she can be taken more seriously in her role as high-powered business woman and designer.
