The influential fashion designer may be a part of a billion dollar empire worth more than the royals, but the mum-of-four is surprisingly down to earth.
For Victoria Beckham, it is her kids that are her pride and joy.
While attending the Fashion 4 Development’s fifth annual First Ladies luncheon, she turned the attention to her kids, explaining how her boys, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 10, love helping out others.
“Romeo last year actually ran in the marathon and he raised money for both UNAIDS and David’s charity as well that he has with UNICEF,” Victoria told to E! News before the charity event.
“As a family, we want to do whatever we can do to help and make a difference however big or small that is. The children definitely want to do their bit too, which we’re very proud of,” the former Spice Girl explained.
The 41-year-old was honoured at the New York event, where she was praised for her positive social change with UNAIDS and along with other causes.
Tweeting her thanks, she said: “Thank you Evie, @liviafirth and @francasozzani for honouring me with the #fashion4development award @UNAIDS x vb. Good bye NY! #Fashion4Development @UNAIDS x thank you x.”
Equally as proud of his little ones is David Beckham. The retired footballer revealed that the apple of his eye is four-year-old Harper Beckham.
“To have a daughter is a whole different story. I’m not saying I love my daughter more, but the boys are independent,” he confessed to The Sun.
And it seems like the sweet cherub is getting dad in a lot of trouble!
“I have no power with that little girl – no power whatsoever. I’m definitely stricter with the boys than I am Harper, which gets me in trouble with my wife of course,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
David, like most protective dads, has already decided dating is off the cards.
“She’s not going out. She’s going to be like Rapunzel – up in the tower.”
Speaking of his little princess, the 40-year-old recently joked to Yahoo Style that he has banned his wife cutting her golden locks.
“About a year ago, my wife said, ‘Maybe we should cut Harper’s hair.’ And I was like, ‘No! We need to grow it. Do. Not. Touch.'”
“Since she was born, we haven’t cut it. That’s why it’s pretty much down to her knees,” he added about Harper’s princess tresses.
After David’s spectrum of unique hairdos over the years, we get why he might want to get Harper to stick to the one look… for now!
