The TV presenter has watered down the couple’s heated exchange captured in the same eatery where Charles Saatchi was infamously snapped grabbing ex-wife Nigella Lawson by the throat.
Responding on Instagram to a fan who asked why she was crying at Scott’s in Mayfair last week, Trinny posted: “Storm in a B cup, very happy.”
The comment appeared to be at odds with her partner however, with the 70-year-old art mogul reportedly telling the UK’s Mirror to send a photographer to the eatery tomorrow and he’d “give Trinny a good throttling” in time for their deadline.
The remark parallels Saatchi’s initial description of last year’s violent row with Lawson as a “playful tiff,” before the TV chef filed for divorce.
