Going way, way back, jazz singer Tony Bennett is sharing candid tales from his life in his new book Just Getting Started.
The 90-year-old singer, who was born Anthony Benedetto, recalled his very first โinteractionโ with his now wife, Susan.
The year was 1966 and the jazz legend was 40-years-old when he met her parents, Marion and Dayl Crow, during a meet-and-greet after one of his shows.
โAs fate would have it, Marion was pregnant at the time with โฆ Susan!โ Tony penned.
โItโs a photo we all laugh about, knowing the incredible turn of events that followed.โ

The couple have no issues about their 40-year age difference.
And the stars donโt stop aligning there!
Susan, now 50, held a coveted position when she was a teenager โ President of the Grammy winnerโs San Francisco Bay Area fan club!
Tony writes about meeting Susan for the second time when she was just 19-years-old.
The persistent teen had asked if she could meet the music legend after one of his shows.

โThe request was sent to me, and it tickled me that someone of her age was so devoted to my music,โ he quipped.
โI not only agreed to say hello to her backstage but asked her to be my date for the evening, and thatโs how it all really beganโฆ foreshadowed by a backstage photo taken in 1966!โ
โI canโt say that we didnโt notice the age difference when we first met. But I can say that after all of these years together, we donโt notice it much now. Weโre compatible in all ways.โ
And the rest is history. Tony, who was previously married to Patricia Beech and actress Sandra Grant, tied the knot to Susan back in 2007, following 20 years of dating.
