Tom Hanks took on a whole new kind of role for a recent skirt on Saturday Night Live – that of a paranoid Donald Trump supporter.
The Forrest Gump actor donned a fake beard and a Make America Great Again cap to play Doug – a supporter of the Republican presidential nominee – for the spoof game show Black Jeopardy!
During the skit, the host Darnell Hayes (played by Kenan Thompson) seems apprehensive at having a white right wing contestant on the show. However, the contestants are increasingly surprised to learn they have similar views on several issues.

Hayes even goes over to Doug to shake his hand at one point. That is until the final category comes up on the board – “Lives That Matter.”
“It was good while it lasted, Doug,” Hayes says.
Trump’s claims that the election is being rigged against him were also mocked, as Doug says: “C’mon, they already decided who wins, even before it happens.”
Hanks has repeatedly rallied against Trump in recent months; most notably when he slammed the candidate’s “locker room” remarks earlier this month.
“He was at work, man. He wasn’t in a locker room. He was at work. He was showing up to do a thing on camera,” Tom fumed.
“Look, I’m offended as a man. I’m not offended as a husband or a father. I’m offended as a guy. That’s just not right, I’m sorry. It’s not right at work, it’s not right in the locker room. It’s wrong, period. The end. That’s all.”
In April this year, the 60 year-old spoke to Sky News about Trump’s candidacy, saying he believed he would become president “right about the time spaceships come down filled with dinosaurs in red capes.”
