After more than a year of the single life, Tom Cruise is on the lookout for a new lady. But finding a perfect match is proving to be quite a challenge for the Hollywood superstar due to his strict criteria.
The 51- year-old actor, who split from wife Katie Holmes in June last year, is on the hunt for a new girlfriend who has been a member of the Church of Scientology for at least five years and is involved in the entertainment industry.
“Tom needs to be strict about his criteria because he wants to avoid a disastrous match and he needs them to understand his hectic lifestyle and all that comes with it,” a source told UK Grazia magazine.
The church has reportedly already set up a dating service for Tom, and found him a possible candidate.
The unnamed actress is friends with Orange Is The New Black actor Laura Prepon and was introduced to Tom at a recent gala event at the Scientology Celebrity Centre in LA.
“Tom seemed impressed, but he’s keen to see who else might be out there,” the insider said.
The Oblivion actor has been linked to numerous women since his split from Katie, most recently actor, model and new Scientology convert Jessica White.
