Her intimate confessions could give him information that may destroy her career.
The custody battle for Suri may be behind her, but Katie Holmes could face a whole new war against Tom Cruise — this time to save her reputation. Speculation is rife that Tom, 50, could be consolidating an arsenal of evidence that may discredit Katie, 33, professionally and personally.
Among it could be a file filled with Katie’s innermost thoughts, feelings and fears, procured during a Scientology confessional process known as “auditing”. According to reports in UK magazine Now, Katie’s friends are concerned her ex-hubby may have access to a dossier detailing her admissions.
“By the time you’ve had years of these sessions, your dossier will be expansive,” a source tells the magazine. “It essentially lays out your faults and issues. If made public that information could be damaging.” Carmen Llywelyn, the former wife of devout Scientologist and My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee, has spoken openly about the auditing experience.
“The church goes into your bedroom,” she told Access Hollywood. “When you’re going through the auditing process, if a question or a thought comes up that has to do with your husband or an intimate sexual detail, you are required to say it. I don’t want to get too gross, but [it would] have to do with sexual positions.”
