Tom Cruise's kids out of control

Two of the most reliable constants in Tom’s life, Isabella and Connor are now running wild in Hollywood.

With three ex-wives, a revolving door of girlfriends and his father walking out on him when he was a young lad, Tom Cruise has had only a few constants in his life – and two of those have been his children, Isabella and Connor.

From the day they were adopted as babies, their lives have revolved around Tom – and he’s done everything in his power to keep it that way, even making sure he got primary custody when he split with their adoptive mother, Nicole Kidman. But now 20-year-old Bella and Connor, 18, are rebelling against Tom’s infamous “Cruise control”, and the megastar is devastated – and seemingly powerless to prevent it.

Our exclusive pictures (inside this week’s Woman’s Day) show Connor smoking and learning to ride a motorbike with his controversial new friend, Magic Mike star Alex Pettyfer. “Tom is really worried because Connor has really fallen in with a bad crowd,” a source close to Tom tells Woman’s Day. “Tom is disgusted that both he and Bella have started smoking, but with Connor there is more to worry about than that.

“Connor only seems interested in partying. His best friend is a sleazy nightclub promoter about 20 years older than him who dates porn stars and, as you can imagine, Tom doesn’t like it one bit.” It’s not as if Tom hasn’t given his son a shot at keeping out of Hollywood’s seedier side. “He did everything he could to set Connor up as the next big thing in Hollywood,” says our source.
