Paris is said to be the most romantic city in the world – so it’s no wonder sparks were flying when Aussie TV host Renee Bargh interviewed Tom Cruise in the City of Love.
Tom, 56, appeared enamoured with the Byron Bay native, who’s hit the big time in the US interviewing A-listers on Extra TV.
“Tom usually loathes doing media, but it was like he forgot the camera was there as soon as he laid eyes on Renee,” says a source.
“He hasn’t laughed like that in years. She totally brought out the best in him – and was rather giggly herself.”

Tom and Renee hit if off straight away.
The 31-year-old travelled from LA to Paris to speak with Tom Cruise about his new movie, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, where they hung out behind the scenes.
“Tom wanted to keep talking when the cameras were off, and who could blame him?,” says an insider.
The feeling’s mutual!
“What’s better than Tom Cruise in front of the Eiffel Tower?” Renee gushed on Instagram.
Sounds like it was “mission: accomplished” for both of them!
Meanwhile, since his divorce from actress Katie Holmes in 2012 Tom’s been linked to several stunning starlets.
Last year, Tom was rumoured to be smitten with The Crown actress Vanessa Kirby.
Tom Cruise? Check. City of love? Check.
And in 2016, an insider told Woman’s Day he had fallen for his The Mummy co-star Annabelle Wallis.

Depsite three divorces under his belt, Tom says he’s still a romantic at heart.
