Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ five-year marriage is officially over, after a judge finalised their divorce on Monday.
The two, who had one of the most publicised marriages in Hollywood, were also expected to have one of the most publicised divorces, but they reached a settlement in less than two weeks.
A New York judge has now signed off on the final judgment, two months after Katie filed for divorce in June.
Tom and Katie are said to be on amicable terms for the sake of their six-year-old daughter, Suri, and made it clear throughout their divorce that she was their main priority.
They have worked out a civil routine and Suri will continue to live with her mum in New York while Tom gets liberal visitation.
