Tilda Swinton’s latest movie transformation will leave you gobsmacked

While it mightn’t be the first time the 56-year-old actress has transformed for a movie role… it certainly is the most drastic.

Tilda Swinton’s latest look on the set of the upcoming thriller, Suspiria, will leave you entirely gobsmacked.

The actress was spotted on the Berlin set of the upcoming film made up to appear as an elderly man – complete with wrinkles, sagging jowls, white hair and a protruding belly, according to The Sun.

Applying the sometimes-controversial technique of method acting to the role, the We Need To Talk About Kevin actress has been spotted using the men’s bathroom in full garbe and has even chatted with fooled onlookers and a kiosk owner, completely in character.

Tilda will star alongside the likes of Dakota Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz and Mia Goth for the reboot film.

The Academy Award winning actress is proving herself once more as Hollywood’s best chameleon, for the role of Madame Blanc in the remake of the Italian horror film.

The film, which debuted in cinemas in 1977, follows the story of a young woman who travels to Germany to join a prestigious ballet company. As gruesome scene after gruesome scene eliminates the film’s protagonists, the young woman begins to uncover a terrifying secret history of the place.

The cult film remains one of the undisputed masterpieces of director Dario Argento.

This isn’t the first time Tilda has switched up her look for a movie. In 2014, Tilda appeared as an elderly woman named Madame D in The Grand Budapest Hotel. She also tackled the role of the White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) while most recently she played the part of a glamorous magazine editor for the comedy Trainwreck (2015).
