The actress was spotted on the Berlin set of the upcoming film made up to appear as an elderly man – complete with wrinkles, sagging jowls, white hair and a protruding belly, according to The Sun.
Applying the sometimes-controversial technique of method acting to the role, the We Need To Talk About Kevin actress has been spotted using the men’s bathroom in full garbe and has even chatted with fooled onlookers and a kiosk owner, completely in character.
Tilda will star alongside the likes of Dakota Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz and Mia Goth for the reboot film.

This isn’t the first time Tilda has switched up her look for a movie. In 2014, Tilda appeared as an elderly woman named Madame D in The Grand Budapest Hotel. She also tackled the role of the White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) while most recently she played the part of a glamorous magazine editor for the comedy Trainwreck (2015).
