The Queen was all smiles on Wednesday as she attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show, held in the private grounds of Windsor Castle.
Her Majesty, 92, kept things casual for the annual event — one of her favourites of the social calendar — in a crisp white shirt, powder-blue cardigan, a tweed skirt, and rose-tinted glasses. She was also pictured with her trusty patent black bag from Launer.
The ensemble was likely a welcome change for the beloved monarch, who typically opts for a power suit and coordinating hat while on-the-clock at official royal events.

Sat beneath a wooden structure stationed on the sidelines, she took in the action alongside two royal aides.
Sadly, Prince Philip — who continues to recover from a hip replacement — was noticeably absent from the event. Nonetheless, the Queen managed to make the most of the day and was at one stage even pictured holding a pink rosette after one of her own horses finished fifth.
It’s certainly an exciting time for the royal!
Her Majesty was recently spotted flying out from Windsor to Kensington Palace to meet her sixth great-grandchild, Prince Louis, for the very first time.
She arrived by helicopter to Perks Field for the important first rendezvous.
Onlookers noticed that the British Monarch looked very happy, with the Daily Mail revealing she brought Duchess Kate and Prince William’s youngest child a bunch of posies – the perfect spring floral arrangement for the young family.
No doubt Prince George and Princess Charlotte were also very excited to see their Gan-Gan – especially given the fact she always has a treat for them.
Duchess Kate revealed two years ago, “She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay and that just shows her love for her family.”
Too cute!
