In less than 24 hours, cardinals from around the world will begin the papal conclave, the process by which the next Pope will be chosen.
Nearly three weeks after the shock resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, church leaders have assembled to decide who will lead the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics.
Conclave is notoriously secretive and there is no real way of knowing who the preferiti – the men most likely to be voted the next Pope – are but these 15 men are rumoured to be the favourites.
