The weather gods did their best to dampen Australia’s moment on the Cannes red carpet last night but no amount of rain was able to take the sheen off Baz Luhrmann’s great unveiling of his latest project.
Gatsby’s leading ladies, including Carey Mulligan, Isla Fisher and Elizabeth Debicki stole the show in a trio of white, red and nude evening gowns. Debicki especially shone, looking radiant in her figure hugging gown.
Leading man Leonardo di Caprio was mobbed by fans and co-star Joel Edgerton and Tobey Maguire did their bit to lift the male fashion quotient with classic tuxedos.
