Proving they are just like any normal couple in love, the royal pair went on a movie date to watch Bridesmaids at a Cineworld complex in Llandudno, North Wales People magazine reported.
Movie goers were shocked to see them enjoying the movie with one local tweeting, “My friend from Uni has just seen Prince William and Kate Middleton in my local cinema.”
Cineworld staff confirmed their outing and tweeted “Prince William & Kate Middy saw Bridesmaids at Cineworld this W’end. Wonder what they made of Kristen Wiigs ‘one eyed’ impression?”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who completed their eight-day tour of Canada and three-day tour of Los Angeles last week, have stepped out of the spotlight to spend some time together as a married couple.
Their step back into laidback life began as soon as the pair left the US, as they boarded a commercial British Airways flight to the UK rather than scheduling a private plane.
The royal pair will now spend some time living in North Wales, while William works and Kate considers what patronages and causes to adopt in her new public role.
“They have the rest of their lives to be public figures and working hard on behalf of the Queen and want to keep things on a level and enjoy their marriage,” a Palace spokesman said.
