Controversial The Block contestant, Suzi Taylor has opened up about her controversial few weeks.
“I suppose I have a few words to say to everyone,” Suzi said in the episode due to air tomorrow night, news.com.au reports.
“If I’ve caused anyone any embarrassment, I totally regret it,” she added.
“I’ve had a lot of personal issues in my life which I suppose a lot of people do, I’m getting a lot better and I’ve had amazing support and I would just want to say to everyone, I feel for you all. Scotty, I thank you so much for your support and I’m on the road to recovery and thank you so much for supporting me.”
She did not elaborate on exactly what she was recovering from, although did encourage anyone suffering “depression” to get help, in a further statement alongside her renovating partner and best friend Yvonne (Vonni) Cosier.
“I think the biggest thing with a problem in your life is you have to acknowledge it and own it and so that’s what I’ve done and I’ve sought help and Channel Nine and everyone have been amazing they’re like my family here in Melbourne and I can’t thank them enough.”
“And I encourage everyone else out there who is going through any sort of depression in life or serious problems to go and seek help and get better.”
Vonni said she was proud of Taylor for speaking up.
“For Suzi to be here today and to have made apologies and to say ‘I’m getting help’, that’s really hard to do,” she said.
The Block Grand Finale goes to air on the Nine Network tomorrow night at 7.30pm.
