The Block’s Oz and Omar “upset” for their co-stars loss but are confident the luxury home will sell

The Block’s Omar and Oz have confessed they are “still upset” fellow contestants Dylan and Jenny have not sold their luxury country home despite auction night occurring in early November.

Fans were heartbroken when Dylan and Jenny were forced to pass in their home – which is now on the market for $1.6 million – alongside Sharon and Ankur who have since sold their home. But Oz and Omar remain positive their co-stars can sell the beautiful house.

“We know it’s going to sell so they’ll be alright, they’ll be alright,” Omar told Now To Love exclusively during a red-carpet event for the premiere of Poker Face featuring Russell Crowe, Liam Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky.

“They’re in good hands,” Oz responded.

Their hopeful words follows not long after Sharon confessed to the Herald Sun during an interview that the contestants have been ignoring Omar and Oz after their record-breaking win. It seems that money has divided the contestants after all.

“No one else is really talking to the boys and haven’t been for some time. They’ve had issues for ages,” she said.

However, Tom revealed in a separate interview with the Herald Sun that he and partner Sarah-Jane were still close friends with Ryan and Rachel and Dylan and Jenny.

He never mentioned The Block 2022 winners and informed the publication he had “no interest in pursuing a friendship” with Sharon and Ankur.

Despite the controversy that surrounded Omar and Oz’s win including the conspiracy theory that Adrian was a dummy bidder, the pair are busy trying to adjust to their new lifestyle as millionaires!

“I mean, it feels good!” Omar said, feeling confident that he and his best friend deserved the win after twelve weeks of gruelling hard work.

“You go on a show like that to win and the fact that we were able to do that just shows that we put in a lot of work to get it done. We did not stop until the hammer stopped.”

Oz responded: “Hard work paid off.”
