Adele attended a Fleetwood Mac concert this week and as the show ended she was escorted back stage to meet her idol, Stevie Nicks.
On Twitter the mother-of-one shared a snap of the momentous occasion, writing “so…tonight was THE best night of my life. I love you Stevie Nicks!! The queen of melodies! Thanks for everything x”
NME Magazine reported that Stevie dedicated the hit song Landslide to Adele, telling the audience, “‘She’s a fantastic songwriter… I told her ‘you’re going to be me in 40 years, you’re going to still be up onstage doing what you’re doing because of your song writing’”.
The 10-time Grammy winner’s latest social media post marks the most activity we’ve seen from her in well over a year, leading to speculation her comeback is immanent.
The British singer has spent the last couple years out of the spotlight to focus on raising her 2-year-old son Angelo with her partner Simon Konecki.
In January Lady Gaga posted a selfie with Adele sparking rumours the two talented songstresses were working together on a record.
It’s been widely reported that Adele is slowly putting together her third album, which is already being highly anticipated.
The musician joked that the album will be called 25 after her two wildly successful previous albums, titled 19 and 22.
Whatever the big-haired beauty has up her sleeved, we know it’ll be epic!
