In a heart-warming display of support for the 12-year-old, David, Victoria, Cruz and Brooklyn all stepped out in Team Romeo T-shirts for the children’s section of the sporting event.
The tight-knight Beckham brood cheered on from the sidelines as Romeo ran the 4.8 kilometre course in an impressive 18 minutes and 54 seconds.
Style Icon Victoria revealed in an Instagram post she was “so proud” of her son, who ran the mini-marathon to raise money for two very worthy charities.
Big brother Brooklyn, 16, also took to social media to express his support.
“Congratulations Romeo for raising £6000 for UNAIDS and 7 Fund,” he shared.
The money will go towards the United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS and a UNICEF initiative that aims to help children in global danger zones.
In an Interview with talk show Ellen DeGeneres filmed days before the marathon, the former Spice Girl talked lovingly about her family.
“All the kids are amazing, they’re really good kids,” she said.
Before adding: “They work hard at school, they’re happy, they’re funny.”
On her three-year-old daughter Harper, who was absent from the rainy London event, the fashion designer explained :“The boys are great with her.”
“She loves to wear little dresses, but then she loves to put her football boots on and go into the garden with her brothers and have a bit of a rough and tumble,” the mother-of-four mused.
Who knows, maybe it will be little Harper running her heart out in the London marathon in a few year’s time!
