Alex Nation’s former sister-in-law seems to be taking aim at her parenting after she posted a cryptic message on her social media account.
The snap in question shows Alex’s son Elijah dining with his dad, Joel Porter, and his partner, Ashy Smith.
The caption beside the candid photo reads: “Love this little family. You are the real winners. You both have that kid’s heart.😍”
Kimberley, who is Joel’s older sister and Elijah’s aunt, posted the photo two weeks ago, which clocks in shortly after Richie Strahan presented the 24-year-old with his final rose.
Was there a double meaning to this candid snap?
After the initial shock of Richie’s decision wore off, fans quickly began to criticise the venue manager for apparently “neglecting” her son.
Last month, Joel’s partner and Elijah’s rumoured stepmother, Ashy, took to Facebook with a slew of suggestive quotes about neglectful parents.
Days before The Bachelor Australia’s finale, she shared: “Too bad you are only a good mother on Facebook and the rest of the time you neglect your child.”
A caption beside the post read, “Think this speaks volumes!!”
Kimberley also commented with the hashtag “#notnamingnames”.
And while Ashy did indeed mention no names, the post have since been deleted.
The five-year-old is being cared for by his doting dad as mum Alex gets to know her new man without lights and cameras.
And that’s not not the only suggestive jab from Alex’s ex sister-in-law, who on the eve of The Bachelor finale last month, appeared to call the blonde beauty out for her lingerie modelling past.
The cartoon meme featured the phrase: “She says I’m a model… but pays for her own shoots.”
While Kimberly reiterated once again that she was naming no names, she also included the hashtags, “#realitytv #whiterose #passiveaggressive #notnamingnames.”
Elijah’s grandmother, Deborah Porter, commented on the suggestive snap with a hashtag of her own that read, “#cantfakefake.”
While Elijah spends time with his dad during the the school break, Alex hit back at the critics who questioned her parenting skills.
“My little boy is everything to me,” she told The Daily Mail while leaving a Melbourne restaurant with Richie.
Adding: “I know who I am and I know what kind of mother I am so they don’t bother me.”

Last week, Alex revealed that she will be reunited with her son in the coming weeks, so that that her number one man can meet her new beau.
In an Instagram comment so subtle that it could easily have been missed, Alex revealed that the highly-anticipated meeting will occur sometime this month.
“In the next month. It’s something we don’t want to rush and we want to really enjoy that special moment together,” she wrote after a fan asked when Richie would meet her son.
Elaborating, she continued: “I’ll be heading home to him soon. He is such a gorgeous little man. Yes it is a very exciting time and I’ll certainly cherish that moment.”
Since proclaiming his love for the aspiring model, Richie and Alex have attended a slew of high-profile events and interviews.
Filming for the popular dating show wrapped back in June, the adorable Elijah and the strawberry blonde bachelor are yet to meet.
Speaking to Woman’s Day Online, Alex admitted she can’t’ wait to see how her boys will interact.
“I think they will get on like a house on fire. I think they’ll gang up on me! I’m very excited at the idea of them meeting each other. It will warm my heart to see the two of them together,” she told us.
