The Kardashians and Jenners are used to breaking the internet, but the debut of Caitlyn Jenner has superseded even the most surreal expectations.
Vanity Fair’s breath-taking cover of Caitlyn Jenner, formally known as Bruce Jenner, has taken the world by storm and fans have been quick to compare Caitlyn to the fabulous Jessica Lange, in fact the look-alikes began to trend worldwide on Twitter.
The 66-year-old actress is somewhat unfamiliar with the internet, but according to the Daily Beast she was delighted by the comparison.
“That’s so wonderful. Well, now I’m going to have to look for that picture,” she told the website when she heard the news.
The blonde bombshell needed an explanation about Internet lingo, “trending on Twitter because Caitlyn Jenner on the cover—you see I don’t do any of this stuff, the Internet,” she added: “so I have no clue when people use this terminology. I have to repeat it to understand.”
Memes and positive messages have been flooding social media, one fan wrote, “#CaitlynJenner and Jessica Lange are #twinning hard and gorgeous” another shared: “is it just me or does @Caitlyn_Jenner look like the equally stunning Jessica Lange.”
Jessica Lange may not have gotten a full grasp on the internet just yet, but her doppelganger Caitlyn Jenner certainly has.
The 65-year-old former Olympian who’s no stranger to breaking world records, took out reigning champ Barack Obama for Twitter’s fastest growing following, by gaining well over a million devoted fans within hours.
Caitlyn Jenner continues to break the internet and we love it!
