He may be Thor on the big screen, but not even super strength could save the Aussie star from what he described as a “30-hour trip from hell.”
Chatting to Ellen DeGeneres on her self-titled show, the 31-year-old revealed what it’s really like flying with three infant kids, after jetting off on a family trip with his wife, Elsa Pataky and daughter India, who turns three next month, and their one-year-old twin boys Tristan and Sasha.
“We actually flew from Australia to London the other day, and door-to-door it’s about a 30-hour trip,” he explained.
Before adding: “It was kind of like the trip from hell. They were all sick and literally took turns to scream.”
“One would kinda do it and then look over and be like, ‘I’m done, you want a turn?’” “Yep, Wahhhh!”
“ The whole cabin wanted to kick us off… I don’t know what people expect though — you’re gonna put them in the suitcase or something?”
In the past, the Avengers star has spoken about fatherhood, admitting to E! News it has changed his priorities.
“I just have so much fun doing it. It’s the best. Now I’m a bit more choosy with when I work and how I work because it better be worthwhile to take me away from them.”
Last year the family man decided to relocate back to Australia, for a better quality of life for his beautiful brood.
“We’re spending more and more time back in Australia and I definitely want the kids to grow up here and spend time here,” he told the Daily Mail.
“We were in California a lot I missed it here and my wife missed it too so that was our goal to get back here.”
