Actress Tessa James marked her 24th birthday on Friday, and after completing a brutal five months of chemotherapy for Hodgkinโs Lymphoma, the gorgeous former Home and Away star finally has something to smile about.
Her Rugby player husband Nate Myles, 29, shared an adorable couple snap of the pair of them on Friday.

On Sunday then the duo were joined by a group of friends and family for a low key picnic at the beach to celebrate her birthday. Tessa looked content and happy as it appeared her hair had also begun to grow back in recent weeks, forming a cute pixie do โ a sign of recovery from the gruelling chemo treatment.

Tessa announced in September last year that she had been diagnosed with Hodgkinโs lymphoma, which is the same type of cancer that singer Delta Goodrem was diagnosed with in 2003.
Since then, the brave Aussie starlet has been keeping her chin up throughout her treatment, staying active and hitting the beach . Recently she shared snaps with fellow Aussie celeb and source of inspiration, cancer survivor Sally Obermeder.
Tessaโs family have also been a great source of support to her throughout the treatment, with her sister Candy also taking to social media on Friday to wish her inspiring sibling a happy birthday.
