Dressed in white, the 57-year-old got down on one knee in a suite at the Arthur Ashe Stadium and asked the Russian model to marry her.
The proposal followed the first men’s semi-final match between Novak Djokovic and Kei Nishikori.
The star later tweeted: “Thanks everyone for your good wishes- I am very happy, so is Julia and our whole family”.
The pair have been dating since 2006.
