“After months apart.” Sylvia Jeffreys and her son Henry have reunited with a precious family member

Sydney’s drawn-out lockdown may have ended a few weeks ago, but families are still reuniting all over Australia.

Over the weekend, Sylvia Jeffreys was able to reconnect with her grandmother, Janine Jeffreys – and their reunion was made extra precious with Sylvia’s son, Henry in tow.

With her high cheek bones and big blue eyes, Sylvia clearly takes after her nan and to commemorate the occasion, the Today Extra host shared a photo of the three generations of the Jeffreys-Stefanovics wearing bucket hats.

The television presenter sweetly captioned her photo, “After months apart, we are loving our precious time with Nan who is voluntarily stuck with us until the Qld border opens. ❤️❤️❤️ @neeniejj.”

Belinda Russell took to her friend’s Instagram comments to congratulate the family for getting back together.

“Yay!!! 🎉 So much time. So many adventures. Soooo many cuddles! ❤️,” she wrote.

Sylvia’s fans also shared their good wishes for the star and their own hopes to reconnect with their loved ones.

One wrote, “Oh, that makes my heart sing! Won’t want to go home 😍,” and another commented, “Precious moments 😍 think Nan looks like she’s enjoying every moment.”

The mother-of-two also shared a sweet exchange with one of her fans called the Kusher Klan, who shared their desire to get home for Christmas.

“Lucky woman – have a ball Janine xxxxx Hope I get to see Phoebe for Christmas,” they wrote.

Sylvia replied, “@kusherklan it has been tough on so many. Hope the Kushers can all be together soon. Bring on the reunions. Xx.”

Seeing Nan wasn’t the only fun had over the weekend.

The Jeffreys-Stefanovic brood took on Halloween with a last-minute shop at Partyland to pull together their family costumes.

Sylvia dressed up as Cat Woman, Peter was a red hot chilli pepper, Oscar transformed into his idol Anthony Wiggle, and little Henry went as Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Today show host posted an adorable family photo, and she captioned the festivities, “This shambolic Halloween effort is brought to you by an eleventh hour trip to Partyland and some BIG chilli energy. Happy #Halloween, everyone! 👻 🎃.”
