There’s one thing that we know for sure about the talented actress and it’s that she has lived an awesome life. Like really, really lived! And despite only being two years shy from hitting the big 7-0 the Oscar winner is showing no sign of slowing down.

Recently the Tammy star headed to Burning Man festival in the dusty desert, an event that prides itself on principles of “radical inclusion and self-expression,” virtues which Susan seemed to take quite literally.

Interestingly, the star made the journey to the event in order to spread the ashes of Timothy Leary, her pal and father of LSD who died in 1996.

Recently the mum-of-three split from her 38-year-old toy boy, Jonathon Brinkley, and was said to be “pretty hurt” after he began dating another older woman – who happens to be the granddaughter of Pablo Picasso – soon after.

A source revealed to The New York Daily News, “Susan is pretty hurt by Jonathan. They had been spending time together again; then he left to Paris to hang with Marina [Picasso’s granddaughter].”

The former pair began dating in 2010, just a year after the flame-haired beauty separated from her partner of over 30 years Tim Robbins, who she shares two children with.

Jonathon told People about the split, “We are broken up, but I still love her madly and she I think loves me a great deal and we are going to be in each other’s lives one way or another.”

Perhaps a broken heart is responsible for Susan Sarandon’s kooky behaviour?

Susan Sarandon let her spirit roam free at the Burning Man festival recently. The star made the pilgrimage to spread the ashes of her late friend, and father of LSD Timothy Leary.

The dusty festival encourages the attendees to embrace, “radical inclusion and self-expression,” virtues which Susan clearly took on-board.

“These boots were made for Burning Man,” the actress kept her trip well document on two separate Instagram accounts.

She doesn’t look like this anymore! The 1991 film Thelma & Louise, about two besties who take on the world, catapulted Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis to icon status.

And they’re still pals 23 years after the flick’s release!

The glory days… After four nominations Susan finally won an Oscar in 1995 for Dead Man Walking, where she famously made a passionate stand against the death penalty “may all of us, find in our hearts and in our homes and in our world find a way to non-violently end violence and heal.”

Susan was with Tim Robbins from 1988 to 2009, but after two kids and 31 years they decided to call it quits.

A year later, the actress struck up an intense romance with Jonathon Brinkley who is 30 years her junior.

Susan shares a very close bond with her daughter Eva, 30, and her granddaughter Marlowe Mae.

As well as Eva, whom Susan had with Italian film director Franco Amurri, the actress has two boys Jack Henry, 30 and Miles, 23, with Tim.
