Steve “The Commando” Willis and his new girlfriend, F45 trainer Harika Vancuylenberg, have faced swirling rumours recently that their romance could be on the rocks.
But the fit duo put on a united public front today on Instagram, with Steve posting two videos of the pair doing a couple’s workout together.
The clips appear to be the first time Steve, 44, has posted about his new girlfriend on social media, making his new relationship Instagram official.
In the videos, Steve and Harika can be seen lifting large heavy dumbbells above their heads, working their muscles as they engage in an intense strength workout.
The pair appear to be exercising either very early in the morning or late at night, as the videos were filmed in the dark.
“Now that was a tough workout,” Steve captioned the videos of himself and Harika.
Harika’s Instagram debut comes following the Commando’s shock split with ex Michelle Bridges, 49, earlier this year.
Last month, Woman’s Day revealed some of Commando’s friends and fitness clients had raised concerns about his relationship with Harika, saying the former Biggest Loser trainer had “changed” and “turned cold” since beginning the relationship.
One source, who called Steve a “mentor” after training with him for more than a year, told Woman’s Day they noticed a change in Steve’s demeanour late last year after he was rumoured to have met Harika on a boot camp trip in Tahiti.
“He changed when he started to see Harika. He turned a little more cold,” the insider revealed.
“When he was with Michelle, I’d train at their house and it was so peaceful, so easy. He was very much into meditation and mindfulness.”
Another client also revealed they were dismayed to hear about Commando’s new relationship.
“I was shocked when I heard they were together. She’s just someone he usually wouldn’t go for,” the source admitted.
Woman’s Day reported the change in attitude became so much for two of his clients that they discontinued their membership with Steve.
“He’s become quite distant since dating Harika. He used to be so friendly,” one client said.
“He’s changed since dating her.”
Yet, while some clients feel Commando has changed, many others remain huge fans of the star, even with Harika on the scene.
“Absolutely, hands down, best trainer in Australia!” one client wrote on social media earlier this year.
“So grateful to you Steve, thank you for sharing your wisdom, knowledge and insight. I’ve learned so much from you,” another gushed.
Harika and Steve were first snapped together walking hand-in-hand in February, just days after Michelle was charged with drink driving.
Yet it’s believed the pair had known each other for some time, with a Woman’s Day source alleging Harika pursued Steve in November in Tahiti.
“Harika was all over him, constantly asking for selfies. She very actively pursued Steve on that trip.”

Last month, Steve moved out of the $6 million luxury apartment he shared with Michelle in Sydney’s Potts Point.
The apartment was under Michelle’s name and has since been sold. It’s believed Michelle and the couple’s son Axel, four, are now permanently based at her weekend retreat in the NSW Southern Highlands.
