“Well, speaking of babies, I have some news for you tonight,” the panel host said live on The Project.
“I am having a baby.”
“My boyfriend Chris and I are expecting a baby next year.”

It will be a second child for Carrie which comes as welcome news after the tragic loss of her first husband Greg Lange four years ago to brain cancer. She already has one son – seven year old Oliver, from this first marriage.
Now, Carrie, 33 is in a long-term relationship with Chris Walker, whom she met on the set of The Project where he was a former producer.
The hugely-popular presenter apparently took everybody surprise – not least her co-hosts Peter Helliar, Todd Sampson and Matt Doran.
Peter joked that maybe it was the Bachelor’s baby – referencing Carrie’s highly anticipated interview with The Bachelor’s Blake Garvey and Sam Frost that went to air earlier in the week.

Carrie Bickmore already has one son Oliver, or “Ollie” as he is affectionately known, from her first marriage to Greg Lange.

Friend and frequent co-panellist on The Project Dave Hughes tweeted his congratualtions.
Another frequent guest funny lady Meshel Laurie sent her congrats too.
Carrie’s news came as such a surprise even The Project producers didnt seem to know about it as they tweeted this after the announcement live on air.
