When national treasure Sophie Monk introduced the world to her secret boyfriend Joshua Gross, we were all so happy to hear that the former Bachelorette had found love.
And this is certainly no fling as the blonde beauty has even said that should she and Josh have children together, she wants them to inherit this particular feature from their dad.
“I’ve got the whitest skin that should never go in the sun. And Josh is so tanned, like he’s got that natural tan where they just go golden, and it’s the best skin,” Sophie told 9 Honey.
“I go out and I’ve got like fake tan, white feet, and then I put tan over it so it’s a little bit glittery. I look like I’m meant to go to the beach, but I’m not. I fake looking like a beach person, but I’m not at all,” she added.
“You can’t defy genes and we’re so white, our family. And if I do have a baby with Josh I hope it gets Josh’s skin, that’s for sure. He’s like, ‘I’m not that dark,’ and I’m like, ‘I can’t even see you in the dark.’ He’s so dark.”
The Love Island Australia host recently underwent surgery to freeze her eggs and shared the experience on Instagram with her followers. Doctors collected 13 of Sophie’s eggs, but we won’t be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny Monk/Gross feet just yet.
“People are saying, ‘Congratulations!’ and I go, ‘Please don’t say that because I eat too much at the buffet,'” Sophie joked.

While we haven’t seen much of Josh in public, apart from a few glimpses on Instagram, it’s clear that Sophie is head over heels for him.
However, the two are still in a long-distance relationship with marketing executive Josh living in the US, while Sophie remains in her native Australia.
“I just wish he lived here, so I’m like, ‘Please!’ Obviously we’re gonna have to eventually move somewhere together, but I wanna stay in Australia, ’cause I love Australia. I lived in America for 10 years and it’s good, but it’s my home here. Eventually, hopefully, we’ll have to live somewhere together.”
Sophie and Joshua met in August last year on a business class flight and hit it off right away.
“I’ve recently met someone who is lovely and who wants to keep things low-key, which is nice for me, as I know he’s sincere and his intentions are good,” she told TV WEEK in December.
“I’ve honestly never been happier, and being home after 10 years in LA is a magical thing right now.”
