Late last year, former Bachelorette Sophie Monk confessed she was already thinking about marrying her boyfriend Joshua Gross just months after meeting him on an international flight.
And it appears the couple may have gotten secretly engaged last week during a romantic getaway together in the Maldives!
Speaking to Woman’s Day, a hotel patron at Club Med Finolhu Villas reveals that the pair were seen having dinner at sunset before an emotional Sophie, 39, was seen embracing her man.
“Everyone at the hotel just assumed he had popped the question,” the onlooker reveals.
Sophie, who had a public break-up with her Bachelorette winner Stu Laundy, once claimed she was engaged four times – to rocker Benji Madden, Angel Champagne founder Stefano Zagni, millionaire Jimmy Esebag and a man named Chris.

As she approaches her 40th birthday, Sophie admits she’s been feeling reflective of where she’s at in her life.
“I thought I’d have four children and be married,” she recently told TV WEEK.
“I thought I’d be in this industry for a little bit and then get out and having a normal life, where I’d pick up the kids from school.”

“But I’ve realised that’s not going to happen.”
But the star isn’t giving up her hopes of having a family just yet and has been honest in sharing her journey of freezing her eggs online to her large fanbase.
In January, Sophie even revealed what trait she wants her children to inherit from Josh should they start a family together.

“I’ve got the whitest skin that should never go in the sun. And Josh is so tanned, like he’s got that natural tan where they just go golden, and it’s the best skin,” Sophie explained.
“I go out and I’ve got like fake tan, white feet, and then I put tan over it so it’s a little bit glittery. I look like I’m meant to go to the beach, but I’m not. I fake looking like a beach person, but I’m not at all,” she added.
“You can’t defy genes and we’re so white, our family. And if I do have a baby with Josh I hope it gets Josh’s skin, that’s for sure. He’s like, ‘I’m not that dark,’ and I’m like, ‘I can’t even see you in the dark.’ He’s so dark.”
