As Sonia Kruger so perfectly summed it up herself, 2015 has been bittersweet.

“I will never forget you #2015 #happynewyear,” she posted on Instagram alongside a photo of her late father, Adrian, who sadly died in June and her 11-month-old daughter Maggie.

As she closed the chapter on 2015, Sonia was joined by her partner Craig McPherson, bub Maggie and mother Margaret for a holiday in Hawaii over the Christmas break.

In a beautiful tribute to her dad, the family chose the idyllic destination as Adrian had always wanted to travel there.

Sonia’s darling daughter, who turns one this month, looked adorable in a pink rash vest while the beloved presenter kept things stylish in a floaty white top and a black and white fedora.

The 50-year-old was joined by her mother Margaret and partner Craig McPherson.

It’s was a bittersweet year for the Mornings host after welcoming her daughter in January, she tragically lost her father Adrian in June.

Sonia Kruger’s daughter makes TV debut

In a beautiful touch, Sonia and her family decided to headed to the idyllic destination as Adrian had always wanted to visit Hawaii.

The star posted this poignant tribute on Instagram to her father and daughter, penning: “I will never forget you #2015 #happynewyear.”

“My final memories of him are precious because he got to spend time with Maggie and see how she had changed my life,” she has said.

“Life has changed a lot. But I am loving work and I’m also loving being with my little girl.”

It’s set to be a busy year for Sonia as she gears up for another season hosting The Voice.
