Sonia Kruger is the latest TV presenter to come under fire for her on air outfit choice, with Voice fans taking to social media to ridicule the dress she wore on Sunday evening.
The dress was a fitted black ensemble, with a slit up one leg and two pieces of coloured fabric attached around the waist and shoulder.
However, the yellow fabric was likened to electrical tape and a pool noodle, among other things.
Stephen Allende tweeted: “#TheVoiceAU has Sonia Kruger dislocated her shoulder?….absolutely terrible dress!”
Another viewer, Craig Dennington, tweeted: “Sonia Kruger’s dress has been fixed by yellow electrical tape….? #TheVoiceAU”
While Virat Nehru tweeted the query: “Is Sonia Kruger wearing a pool noodle across the top of her dress? Seriously, what is that?!”
For the record, we think Sonia looked stunning, as always.
But Sonia is hardly alone in the silver screen fashion faux par club, with Gorgi Coghlan experiencing an on air ‘wardrobe malfunction’ in May.
The presenter wore a fitted blue dress with a nude upper half, which made her look not only topless, but braless.
And Natarsha Belling famously wore a jacket dubbed the “penis jacket” in March, causing a stir on social media.
However, last night Sonia’s co-host, Darren McMullen, wore a velvet suit. And it wasn’t mentioned on social media once. How surprising.
