Sonia Kruger has given her first interview since becoming a mum on Mornings and co-host David Campbell could barely hold back the tears!
Chatting to David and fill-in co-host Nine newsreader Wendy Kingston, Sonia, 49, said the birth of her little girl was “just amazing”.
Little Maggie Kruger McPherson was born at 8:34am on January 24 weighing a healthy 3.8 kilos.
Sonia said her little girl was ‘thriving’ and she was” just divine”.
Apart from getting little sleep, Sonia was elated at the thought of becoming a new mum saying the best part is that she gets to look after Maggie “every day now for the rest of my life”.

She also revealed the significance behind the name Maggie.
“Margaret is my mother’s name and Maggie Mcpherson just sounded really good,” she said.
Sonia’s happy news comes only a short time after David and wife Lisa welcomed their newborn twins Billy and Betty on January 12th.
