Sharon Stone has revealed that she believes she’s already been to heaven and come back.
The Basic Instinct actress confessed she saw a “bright, white light” after suffering a brain hemorrhage in 2001.
“I feel that I did die,” the 58-year-old star told Closer Weekly.
“This kind of giant vortex of white light was upon me and, poof! I sort of took off into this glorious bright, white light.”
She says she even saw some of her old friends who had passed on when she was dead.
“I started to see and be met with some of my friends,” she reveals. “People who were very, very dear to me.
“I had a real journey with this that took me to places both here and beyond.”
When the incident first happened, Sharon told the publication she thought she was having a stroke and waited three days before she sought medical help.
The events made her rethink her life and take a break from acting.
“It affected my life so profoundly that it will never be the same,” the actress confessed.
Sharon says there was definitely an upside to the experience.
“I get not to be afraid of dying and I get to tell other people that it’s a fabulous thing and death is a gift.”
Meanwhile fans are beginning to worry for the health of the star.
Sharon was pictured looking exhausted when she arrived at LAX airport after being on the promotional trail for her upcoming projects.
She’s just finished filming three movies and has three more in the future.
The actress had just flown in from Martha’s Vinyard where she was awarded the Film Society Global Citizen award for her philanthropic work at the Martha’s Vinyard Film Festival.
Onlookers were worried for the famous blonde, as she placed her hand on her head with her eyes closed, and appeared to be in a trance.
We hope she gets some good rest soon!
