Sharon Stone: 58 and rocking the bikini playing beach volleyball

The actress strips down to teeny shorts and a bikini top for a new film she’s shooting.

Sharon Stone looks amazing. Sure, she’s a well-paid Hollywood actress and with all the trappings that go with this. But there’s still no denying the 58-year-old “activist, actress, mother” as her Twitter bio says, is looking pretty damn good.

And anyone who’s tried to get fit for this coming summer, and is over 50, you’d know it’s a task requiring major food restriction and a whole lot of exercise – and still chances are you won’t be bikini or boardie ready

Sharon was photographed playing beach volleyball on Malibu beach for her upcoming movie A Little Something for Your Birthday.

In this movie, set for release next year, Sharon plays an aspiring fashion designer struggling to find success and love, and to escape the clutches of her overbearing, co-dependent mother played by Ellen Burstyn.

The story cuts into her life once a year, always on the same date – her birthday- and also stars Jason Gibson, the burly star of Blunt Force Trauma, and Bond girl, Dutch actress Famke Janssen.

Mum to three boys (she adopted Laird, now 11, in 2005 and Quinn, now 10, in 2006 and has a son Roan, 16, who she adopted with former husband Phil Bronstein) , Sharon has been open about her “beauty secrets” in the past including her regular use of dermal fillers after suffering a stroke in 2001.

“It’s so common now for people to use fillers, it’s almost like a beauty treatment,” she told Harper’s Bazaar last year.

“It’s like you have mascara and a filler. And it’s a far better alternative than having your face cut apart and ending up looking like you got sucked into a wind tunnel.”

In the same interview she had this to say about her butt: “I’m aware that my ass looks like a bag of flapjacks.”

And then goes on to describe being sexy as you get older – and it’s a good mantra for any woman witnessing the passing years. “At a certain point you start asking yourself, ‘What really is sexy?’ It’s not just the elevation of your boobs. It’s being present and having fun and liking yourself enough to like the person that’s with you.”

But all that aside she’s still looking good and, judging by her posts on Facebook, not a flapjack in sight.
