Sharon Osbourne didn’t appear to be quite herself on a recent episode of X Factor, slurring her words, speaking overly animatedly and even forgetting a contestant’s name, and where she was from.
But the TV host took full advantage of an appearance on Good Morning Britain to clear a few things up.
The former reality TV star joined Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on the couch, insisting there was nothing sinister to her forgetful appearance.
“I was thinking about something else. I wish I could come up with a better excuse,” she said.
“I was thinking about songs, and I wondered what that jukebox is going to land on, what are we going to do next week and then I’m like, ‘Oh she’s in the bottom two again’ and all of this is going on in my head and then they go, ‘It’s you it’s you’ and I’m like, ‘What? What am I doing?’
“I’ve got one coming from Louis [Walsh], one coming from Simon [Cowell] and they’re both telling me different towns, different countries, different names and they do it to wind me up and I fall for it,” she said.
Sharon then firmly shut down the haters on Twitter suggesting her performance was related to memory loss from drinking.
“Listen trolls on Twitter,” she blasted. “I have seen too many careers destroyed, family members destroyed from alcohol, this Mrs ain’t going there.”
The wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne also took the time to tell everyone how her marriage is doing after the affair scandal.
“Everything is good,” she revealed. “Everything is on track.
“Listen, I’m blessed. I have a blessed life, I’m very lucky to be doing what I do.”
She continued: “I have come through and I’m definitely out the other side. It makes you realise how short your life is, how precious your love is and your family.
“You know what? My husband might be a dirty dog, but he’s my dirty dog. I’ve known him since I was 18 and I’m 64, can you believe it?”
