Police confirmed that the 41-year-old, who has since been bailed, was involved in an incident right outside Adelaide’s gentleman’s club, the Crazy Horse Revue.

The Australian Idol runner-up was in the South Australia for a performance at a music festival in Mannum, east of Adelaide.

Nine News has since obtained footage of the incident, which shows Shannon talking to the strip club’s security guards.

Shannon was the very first runner-up in the inaugural season of Australian Idol back in 2003

Alstair Longmuir witnessed everything unfold.

Chatting to Nine, he recounted how Shannon got kicked out of the establishment.

“He got really aggressive, and kept being like ‘I’m Shannon Noll, let me back into the Crazy Horse’, and punched a security guard. Then four policemen pinned him down and took him away in a police car.”

The venue prides itself as the Home of Miss Nude Australia, with their website boasting that it “brings you the most luscious international performers.”

With a backing like that, it’s no wonder such a ruckus was created.

Shannon will appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on February 24.
