Shannen Doherty has something big to celebrate, as she and husband Kurt Iswarienko enjoy their fifth wedding anniversary in Mexico.
The 45-year-old actress, who is currently battling cancer, has been sharing sweet snaps of the couple’s vacation for the world to see.
In one particularly adorable memory, Shannen wrote “Five years ago today I made one of the best decisions of my life. I said “I do” and married my best friend and soulmate @kurtiswarientko”.
“Life has thrown us some huge curves and we have faced them together with strength, love, passion and a desire to stand next to one another thru it all. I have learned what partnership truly is with this man.”
Not to be outdone, Kurt also proclaimed his love for his wife with a beautiful snap of the night sky.
“6′ O’clock in the morning. Electrical storm. Deep in the most magical part of #Mexico,” he wrote. “The universe is alive and kicking. Happy Anniversary @theshando I love you.”
The former 90210 Beverly Hills star headed to Mexico on the romantic holiday last week, and has been gushing about the stunning location on social media.
She told her followers that husband Kurt lived in Mexico City as a child and has lots of “childhood memories” there.
Shannen first revealed to fans that she was battling breast cancer in August this year. Since then, the actress has been open and honest with followers about her diagnosis, and has often praised her family and friends for helping her through.
She recently wrote on Instagram: “Cancer is not pleasant but it can bring out the best in relationships or the worse. Thankfully, it has made our marriage stronger.”

Shannen and Kurt married in 2011 in a ceremony held in Malibu.
