Watch out, ladies.
Shane Warne might have told one media outlet he’s enjoying time to himself at the moment, another has uncovered his online dating profile.
Warne has been using the dating app Happn, which has taken off in Australia and overseas recently, being dubbed the ‘new Tinder’.
Using your phone’s GPS, the app matches users who cross paths, leaving it up them to ‘like’ each other before they can communicate.
However, the one big difference is Happn users – who also list more details on their profile such as their profession – are more commonly searching for a relationship than a short fling.
Not Warnie though. A source sent the Aussie’s profile to The Mail on Sunday, after crossing paths with Warne on the app, revealing the cricketer-turned-commentator is up for a good time rather than a long time.
“Up for fun,” is the line featured Warne’s bio along with his website url and nine images (two of which, also feature on his Facebook page according to The Mail on Sunday).
At the same time his Happn profile was made public, Warne was profiled in a rival UK paper and spoke about enjoying time on his own.
“I’ve only had a couple of proper relationships. I was married once, I was engaged once. If I found what I had with Elizabeth, if that person came along then I’m up for it but at the moment I’m enjoying having some time to myself,” Warne told the UK Express.
As well as speaking about his past relationships with Liz Hurley and Simone Callahan, Warne discussed those plastic surgery rumours.
“I haven’t had anything done, I promise,” said Warne.
“I’ve never pretended to be something I’m not which is one of the reasons I’m still popular. I’m not ashamed to say it, I wouldn’t hide it, I have absolutely no issue with it either but I can guarantee I’ve never gone under the knife or anything like that.”
