Shane Warne has revealed his filter-free self after fans accused him of having too much plastic surgery.
The cricketer-turned-commentator has routinely denied having any plastic surgery, telling The Australian “Everyone thinks I’ve had facial operations. I haven’t had one thing.
“I was around 92, 93 kilos when I finished playing cricket. I had my own TV show on Channel Nine in Australia. I was doing some rehearsals, and I thought, ‘Holy s**t, I’ve put on a bit of weight. I’ve got to get fit for my TV show.’”
In an attempt to put the rumours and online abuse to bed, Warnie has posted a selfie with the caption: “Poker face ready for #WSOP main event!” with the hashtags #wrinkles #twodifferentcolouredeyes.
He also included “no awesome filters” in the caption.
Warnie posted a photo – donning an “awesome” filter – on Wednesday during the fourth of July weekend, while in Vegas, which left fans angry and abusive.
“Back off the surgery Warnie – starting to look like NY cat lady” wrote one instagram user.
Another asked: “What are you doing to yourself Warney,” with an emoji of an injection.
While one fan also questioned: “Is this a wax figure of you?”
We’ll let you decide.
