Sean and Madonna may be heating up again after being spotted on numerous dates.
A lot can change in 26 years, apparently. Overseas reports are emerging that Sean Penn and Madonna – who split in 1989 – have been spotted on numerous “dates”.
The I am Sam actor was photographed in prime seats at Madonna’s concerts in New York and Vancouver.
According to UK newspaper The Daily Mail and Brit magazine Grazia, the pair even enjoyed an intimate dinner together at luxurious haunt Shutters on the Beach on LA’s Santa Monica beach.
“Despite the years that have elapsed since their marriage ended, their connection remains undimmed,” says an insider. “Madonna has always carried a torch for Sean. They’re both excited to see where it goes.”
Sean and Madonna were married from 1986 to1989.
Other reports say that they’re moving much faster than first thought, with the National Enquirer suggesting that Sean and Madonna will be re-marrying as early as next year.
Although there’s no official word yet from the couple, the rumour mill is in overdrive Stateside, and it appears that, at the very least, the Material Girl and the 54-year-old have put their turbulent past behind them.
The duo divorced in 1989 after multiple occurrences of public screaming matches and allegations of domestic violence.
