The couple, who’ve been together for over 17 years, seem as smitten as ever.
Sarah Michelle Gellar planned a surprise Facebook Live chat with the special guest being none other than her hubby, and Freddie dished on everything from looking after the kids to their first date!
The married duo took part in the online interview to help promote Freddie’s cookbook Back to the Kitchen.

It’s been more than a decade since Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. got married.
They started dating after first meeting on the set of 1997’s I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Freddie admitted that food was the tell-tale sign when it came knowing Sarah was the girl for him.
“A lot of girls back then in Hollywood as far as the actresses, they didn’t eat, they ate salad,” Freddie recalled.
“And I had gone on a date with a handful of them; they would never eat what I would eat. You have to have that in common with me if we’re going to get along. And so Sarah came to dinner with me, and we sat down and she ate everything!”
Before continuing, rather proudly, “Including a crab that they let walk across the counter, then kill while it was alive in some oil and said, ‘It’s popcorn, try.’ And she ate it without even blinking, and I was like, ‘Yo, my girl is legit!’”
While Sarah and Freddie are quite private about their personal life, Here are top three things we discovered about the King and Queen of the 90s:
1. The parenting side of Sarah and Freddie
The couple clearly adore being parents. But unlike many in Hollywood, they were very open to how challenging it can be.
Speaking about their two kids not being fussy eaters, Sarah and Freddie were adamant that “it’s not luck!”
“We do have a rule in our house, which is: You have to try something ten times and then two times more. And then and only then can they make the decision that they don’t like to eat something!,” Sarah explained.
Adding, “I think the only thing we’ve gotten that far on is mushrooms.”
Freddie, on the other hand, kept it real, admitting it “sucks” being a good parent.
“When your friends have good kids, don’t tell them they’re lucky! By the 100th time, it starts to feel insulting. It sucks being a disciplined parent. “
“It sucks saying ‘You’re not going to eat that food? Then you’re eating nothing!'”
“I feel like a horrible father! But our kids eat! It’s not luck, it rough sauce!”

2. The couple LOVE going off topic
Sarah and Freddie basically speak their own language!
The duo can’t help but go off on their own tangents… Our favourite is when they start playing a game.
The Buffy starlet told the Facebook live audience, “OMG he plays this game with me all the time – From what movie? – where he’ll constantly throw things out.”
Freddie jumped in and added, “I’ll even do voices, I’ll be like ‘Sarah, from what movie?”
3. Freddie’s first holiday is the reason why he is married to SMG!
We also learned the Freddie’s first vacation was in Dublin, Ireland.
And it just so happens to be the place where his girlfriend dumped him! (Sarah is very thankful for that!)
Clearly that tapped into the recipe for love, eventually tying the knot in Mexico in September 2002.
The adorable duo soon became parents to Charlotte Grace and son three-year-old Rocky James.
After 14 years of marriage, the 39-year-old actress revealed to People about her secret to a loving and lasting marriage.
“In this busy world, sometimes we forget to tell people [we love them] – make the most of the moments you have,” she advised.
“Take the 10 minutes – put the phone down. Have a cup of coffee together. Walk the dog at the end of the night. Read a story with your kids.”
“Make the most of the time that you have,” she continued. “We are all pulled in so many directions, so make sure that, whichever one you are focusing on, you’re present.”
Over the weekend, the proud mama took to Instagram to celebrate another huge milestone, her daughter’s seventh birthday.
Posting a stunning flashback of her then-baby, Sarah penned, “Sometimes when I need a miracle, I look into my daughters eyes, and realize I’ve already created one #happybirthdayCharlotte #thisis7.”
